Simple basecoats, washes and drybrushing are not cutting it for you anymore? Do you want to dive into more advanced techniques? Or are you interested in painting busts and models for competitions? Then this is the right workshop for you.

We are going to talk about light and shadow placement, as well as specific advanced lighting situations. We are also going to talk about volumetric painting so you can bring out all the shapes and details on your miniature.

Another big topic in this workshop is how you can plan your paintjob to set yourself up for success, as well as color theory to make sure your model has the right amount of pop and looks cohesive.

While painting, we will also take a look at different painting techniques that help you create smooth surfaces, as well as the use of textures to create more surface detail. We will also briefly talk about topics like Non-Metallic Metal (NMM).

This workshop includes a high-quality resin bust, a matching display plinth and all the materials you’ll need during the workshop.

I will also provide you with a complete guide (written and in video format) for this bust. This allows you to finish the bust to perfection at home and at your own pace after the workshop.

At the end of this workshop, I will take professional pictures of your miniature so you can show it off on your socials or in your local scale modelling group.

This is a two-day workshop. On day one, we will work on the bust for 8 hours, followed by 6 hours on day two.

• A painting guide that you can use as reference for your upcoming projects
• A painting guide for the provided miniature in written and video format
