This is the most requested workshop topic since I released the first “speedpainting” video on YouTube.

This workshop is targeted at multiple groups of modelers. This is a great starting point if you want to get into miniature painting or if you just want to improve your mini painting skills.

We are going to talk about the basics of miniature painting, and we will get to know the most important techniques like zenithal highlighting, basecoating, layering, drybrushing, and glazing. We are also going to use different types of paint that are important for miniature painting like acrylic paints, contrast/speedpaints, as well as enamel paints.

But this workshop isn’t only the right place to start — it is also a great workshop for modelers who are mainly interested in painting figures to a pretty high level in a reasonably short amount of time, especially if you want a few figures that can be placed next to your model or on your diorama. If you ever felt that your miniatures make your model look worse because they are missing the level of detail you are able to achieve on your models, this workshop is for you.

In this 1-day workshop (6 hours), you and up to 9 other modelers are going to paint a single miniature from start to finish, including a small display base.

The miniature, the base (specifically designed for this workshop), and the display plinth are included in the price, as well as all the painting materials needed for this project. Everything you need to bring with you is the will to learn something new, and you will leave with a great-looking miniature.

At the end of this workshop, I will also take professional pictures of your miniature so you can show it off on your socials or in your local scale modelling group.
